President Clinton and CGI: Inspirational Energy

How can you empower people economically in a way that lifts poor countries as well as individual people? How can you figure out a way to get all the kids of the world in school?

It’s not just what are you going to do and how much money are you going to spend. It’s how are you going to do it?

The words of William Jefferson Clinton, 42nd President of the United States of America, and head of the Clinton Global Initiative. The video we are sharing here was made to open peoples’ minds to CGI ahead of the annual meeting in New York later this month, and is a masterful example of talking head inspiration.

President Clinton paints a picture of political and commercial heavyweights in conference around a table, exercising their dedication to making a difference. It’s no figment of the imagination: it’s what happens every year at CGI annual meetings, such as the one we are showing our video at in two weeks time!

CGI is 1400 commitments made by several thousand people over four years. $46 billion dollars raised to help 200 million people in 150 countries. This is CGI: something we’re extremely proud to be a part of.

As the President says: “Everybody’s got something to give. We just try to get people involved. You always want to leave the next generation with a new set of problems – not the same ones.”

Are you involved? Are you giving what you can? If you haven’t donated to Race4Change yet then the answer is no! Fix that now by donating to our mission – tax deductible in the USA, and no money goes into rally cars: it all goes to organisations that help people directly. Donate and then watch this video: wonderfully inspiring.

One person can make a change, but together we can change the world!
