Things are frantic in Africa. Björn’s damaged rollcage has been repaired with a welded-in section. We think he will have lost minimum an hour when it all shakes out, which means P2 behind Geoff Bell in the 240Z, assuming no grief for Geoff.
Funk (above) was stuck on stage 13 for ages but has just started 15: awaiting stage times for all three from the organisers.
Our African hero, Patrick Njiru, is running well – I’ll catch up with Patrick later and bring you news of his progress.
In short, the rally trackers shows all cars on the move, which is much better than it was looking two hours ago.
