Race4Change Safari Rally 2011: Day 1 Video

It’s the last day before the 2011 East African Safari Rally starts. Our team spent yesterday getting to know each other a little better, and talking to the press about our aims and ambitions for this exciting event.

Funk Family Films are covering the rally for Race4Change. Here’s a little video they shot of everybody saying hello. I kind of shot myself in the foot with the Day 1 title, as tomorrow will be the second ‘Day 1′ but, what the hey: two is better than none!

The video features Travis Pastrana and Lyn-Z arriving in Kenya, Funk greeting Björn and Mathias Waldegård, Mary-Ellen Iskenderian from Women’s World Banking talking about the importance of empowerment in this part of the world, Fabrizia Pons laughing politely at Funk’s jokes and just a great positive vibe, which is what our team is all about. Check out Fabrizia’s wannabe Porsche Playboy pose:

Enjoy the video and be sure there’s much more coming! We hope it will inspire you to donate to our cause and be part of this INCREDIBLE adventure with potentially life-changing results.
