Race4Change wins the 2011 Safari Rally!

We have done it! We have won the 2011 Safari Rally, with Björn Waldegård behind the wheel of a Tuthill Porsche-prepared 911.

We’re waiting for official confirmation of the result before the podium ceremony at 1pm in Mombasa, Kenya, but we can confirm that Steve Funk set the fastest stage time on the first stage this morning: an awesome way to start the last day of the greatest rally ever!

More from us later, but if you have supported our effort with donations or promotion of any kind, then this victory is also for you. Heartfelt thanks to each of you and more later.

Remember, our race goes on beyond this amazing result! Keep up with all the Race4Change rally news on the Ferdinand Porsche Magazine & Daily News Blog.
